Continuing to lead the way in Supercheap Auto National Trans Am was Valvoline LMCT+ Garry Rogers Motorsport driver James Moffat in this afternoon’s final practice session at AWC Race Tasmania. Moffat seat a time of 54.283s to edge GRM teammate Owen Kelly once again by 0.226s, as this time Ben Grice’s All American Driveline Ford Mustang improved to third to be just 0.226s off the top. Sydney Property Care GRM’s Edan Thornburrow maintained a good position in fourth ahead of The Racing Academy’s Tim Slade and impressive young gun Tom Hayman in his family-run Ford Mustang. The DJ Pioneer Chevrolet Camaro of Elliot Barbour was seventh ahead of The Racing Academy’s second Mustang driven by Jaylyn Robotham, with TPS Group/Breeze Holiday Park’s Brett Holdsworth and Lochie Dalton in the AWC GRM entry rounding out the top 10. On the outside of the top 10 were Tyler Everingham, Jett Johnson, Adam Garwood, Cody Gillis and James Simpson. This time Mark Crutcher led the way in Masters Cup, but it promises to be a close contest between himself, John Holinger and Craig Scutella.
