Barbour Back on the Grid Proudly Carrying Rokon Colours

Elliot Barbour is back where he belongs, behind the wheel and back on the Trans Am Cup Series grid. After being sidelined for Round 4 at Queensland Raceway, Barbour and his #75 Chevrolet Camaro return this weekend for Round 5 at The Bend Motorsport Park (11-13 September), and he's returning in style, thanks to the newest member of the team ROKON.

Barbour, who races for Marcos Ambrose Motorsport in partnership with Garry Rogers Motorsport (GRM), will pilot a freshly wrapped Camaro carrying the colours of ROKON, one of Victoria's leading civil works contractors. The Melbourne-based company has been on the ground since 1999, and now their name will be flying around the track alongside Barbour's #75 entry for The Bend & the Sandown final.

“To be back on the grid feels amazing, and to be doing it with ROKON on the car makes it even better,” said Barbour. “This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible effort from the GRM and Marcos Ambrose Motorsport crews, they turned this car around, fully wrapped and mechanically prepped, in just four days. That's an enormous effort and I couldn't be more grateful.”

The turnaround is a standout effort even by motorsport standards, a complete livery change and full mechanical preparation completed in under a week, ensuring Barbour didn't miss a beat heading into the next round of the championship. It's a testament to the depth of talent and dedication within the GRM and Marcos Ambrose Motorsport garages, who worked around the clock to have the #75 Camaro ready to fight.

“I am so proud to welcome ROKON to the team,” Barbour added. “Their support is huge, and I'm pumped to get back out there and give them and everyone who made this happen a result to be proud of at The Bend.”

The partnership marks a significant step up for ROKON, who have moved from a personal sponsor of Barbour's to full naming rights sponsor of the #75 entry, a milestone Barbour says reflects a genuine alignment in values between myself & ROKON.
